(NEW) A welcome addition to the Collings lineup and new for 2020, the 14-fret 00 will strike you as a very comfortable guitar with a strong sound that belies its size.  Let's talk about putting German spruce on top of Indian rosewood: we highly recommend it!  We think these two tone woods definitely bring out the best in each other, the complexity of German spruce coupled with the warmth of Indian rosewood...  what else do you need?  

Visually, it's clean and classic.  Style 2 appointments like ivoroid binding, diamond/square fingerboard inlays, zipper backstrip.  We said "hold the herringbone" and instead it has a simple black/white/black purfling line, showing off the tight-grained German spruce.  

Specs include 1 3/4" nut width, 2 3/16" saddle spacing, and a short 24 7/8" scale length.  For the curious, this guitar measures 14 7/16" wide at the lower bout, and a body depth at the tail block of 4 1/16".  For fans of OMs and smaller, this guitar will feel instantly comfortable.  Includes original TKL hard case.
