(NEW) We're calling this little beauty "Julian Jr" because we decided to take every available feature from Collings' popular Julian Lage OM (1 11/16" nut, Adirondack top, satin finish, beautiful sunburst) and add them to their more compact and short scale 001T 14-fret.  We have to say, we're pretty pleased with ourselves on this one!  Dry, woody and sweet sounding, Collings absolutely nailed it here.  

As stated, the outline and proportions of an OM have been slightly scaled down, and the resulting guitar is extremely comfortable but also balanced and versatile.  No small guitar compression, only small guitar sweetness!  

Adirondack over mahogany, with Collings' thin and smooth satin Traditional finish.  Top is bursted with the vivid "Style 1" sunburst.  Short 24 7/8" scale, with 1 11/16" nut width.  Traditional neck is a modified "V" with slightly more mass than the standard line version.  Traditional features include animal protein glue construction, no tongue brace, forward-shifted and scalloped Sitka braces, ebony fingerboard with rolled edges, small maple bridge plate, relic'd nickel Waverly tuners.  Includes original TKL hard case.  

We think this one is the first of its kind!
