(NEW) The 0002H Cutaway has always been a popular model with us, offering as it does the best of all worlds: it has the comfort of a medium sized guitar, it has the tonal benefits of the 12-fret design (namely a richer lower register) and it has full-fingerboard access thanks to the cutaway.  Visually, it hits as both classic and modern at the same time.  

This one has a Sitka spruce top, east Indian rosewood back and sides and a mahogany neck with modified V profile.  While traditional 000 guitars have a wide 1 7/8" nut, we had Collings bring this one down to 1 3/4", very manageable for most players, with 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  We also had them go short scale on this one, 24 7/8" to be exact, which adds some flex to the strings and a little overall warmth to the box.  

Style 2 features include herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette, ivoroid body binding and zipper back strip.  It has an ebony fingerboard with short pattern diamond/square inlay, ebony pyramid bridge and a slotted peghead with Waverly tuners.  Includes TKL hard case.
