Collings 0001C Sunburst, 12-Fret, Sitka Spruce, Mahogany, Short Scale, Cutaway - NEW

(NEW) Mahogany clarity, 12-fret fullness and cutaway utility, these define the Collings 0001C.  With a medium-sized body and shallow body depth (3 3/16" at the neck block, 4" at the tail) there is no questioning the comfort factor on these guitars.  We had this one built with Sitka spruce on the top, mahogany back/sides and neck, and a lovely "Style 1" sunburst.  The cutaway takes nothing from the sound, but certainly gives full access to the upper areas of the fingerboard.  We know that not everyone enjoys changing strings on a slotted headstock, so we had this one made with a solid peghead. 

Other specs include 1 3/4" nut width, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle and short 24 7/8" scale length.  Appointments include tortoise body binding, b/w/b top purfling, ebony fingerboard with dot inlays.  The tuners are nickel Waverly.  Includes original hardcase.
