(NEW) We asked Mike Franks and the crew at Cirrus to make us the Jumbo that they would build for themselves, traditional with great Adirondack spruce and genuine Honduran mahogany. They delivered (and then some) and this guitar has a vintage feel and great tone, but also doesn't feel overly fussy. It's ready for some time in the studio or on the stage!
This is a slope D in the Gibby tradition, with a nice dark sunburst (beautiful gradient on here) and a full, vintage C-shaped neck. It is short scale, with 1 3/4" bone nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. The fingerboard is ebony with pearl inlay and the bridge is rosewood. Tuners or open-gear Gotoh. The finish is smooth satin.
This is a lovingly made custom guitar that will satisfy purists and leave a little beer money in your wallet! Includes hard case.
