Bourgeois Sawmill Series Limited Dreadnought, Adirondack Spruce, Maple - NEW

(NEW) Just when you think Dana Bourgeois would take a break from movin' and shakin' all over the world, he announces that he's starting his own sawmill!  Of course, every luthier's dream is to have full control over the wood they're building with, and Dana will now more than ever be able to pick the very best cuts for his world famous guitars, all while cutting out the unpredictability of some third party wood suppliers (and lowering the cost in the process!)  These are 100% built in the USA.

To commemorate the concept, they build for one-of-a-kind guitars, dubbed the "Sawmill Series" and your friends at AMW nabbed you two of the initial run of four guitars!  This one is a Dreadnought, and it features a locally sourced Adirondack top, figured maple back, sides and neck stained a rich deep amber color, Ziricote body binding, fingerboard, bridge and peghead overlay, Waverly tuners, a smooth satin finish and an LR Baggs Anthem pickup pre-installed at the factory.  It also has a special "Broad Arrow" headstock inly.

The nut width is 1 23/32", the string spacing at the saddle 2.2" and the scale length 25 1/2".  The neck is a mod-V shape and measures .872" thick at the first fret and ..947" at the ninth.  Bone is used for the nut, saddle and pins.

A seriously pretty guitar with a decidedly sweet, mellow tone.  First of its kind!  Includes hard case.
