Beard Legacy E Round Neck, Master Grade Maple, Custom Aqua - NEW

(NEW) Beard once again blows our minds with their reso phonic artistry!  We couldn't resist this one-of-a-kind, highly customized Legacy E in custom AQUA and featuring a gorgeous ocean inlay theme on the fingerboard.  It has master grade flamed maple for the body, a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard.  The fingerboard inlay is a mix of abalone and mother of pearl, and board is bound in curly maple.  We love the contrast of the vivid aqua color and the black satin hardware, it's very striking in person.  

If you've never played a wood-bodied resonator you're in for a treat!  They are much lighter in weight than their steel and brass cousins, with a more nuanced and sophisticated sound, but one that can also get abrasive when it needs to.  This one has a cutaway for access to the uppermost frets.  

The neck has a 1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the spider bridge and a comfortable low oval profile.  The tuners are super-smooth Gotoh 510s.  Includes Fishman Nashville pickup, compatible with their Aura effects pedal (not included).  A hard case is included, of course. 

What a special piece!  Never not impressed with what's coming out of the Beard shop!
