Beard Deco Phonic Southside A-127, Engelmann Spruce, Finnish Birch - NEW - SOLD

SOLD

(NEW) Find a cooler, American made guitar than the Beard Southside, one that costs under $2,000 brand new... it's okay, we'll wait..

Seriously, we are in love with these little boxes!  Beard has entered the flat top market and captured our attention with the Southside, the latest entry in their Deco Phonic lineup.  This shape falls somewhere nicely between an OM, an L1 and a KG-11.  It's comfortable and on the small to medium side, but has plenty of top surface to vibrate.  Its short scale and bridge placement give it a warm sound reminiscent of a good 12-fretter, but nope, we've got 14 clear on this guitar!

Solid Engelmann top, laminated Finnish Birch back and sides.  Open-pore finish, with sunburst on the top, dark stain on the back, sides and neck.  Short 25" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" saddle spacing.  Comfortable modified low oval neck shape.  Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, plastic pins.  Golden Age tuners.  Includes TKL hard case.

These guitars sound great, and they're certainly road worthy.  Built in the USA, to last!  Beard is crushing it these days!
