Baleno Size 2 Parlor, Adirondack Spruce, Madagascar Rosewood, 41-style - NEW

(NEW) You've heard us for years now raving about Chuck Baleno's Size 2 parlor guitar, and this example, possibly the best we've ever encountered, proves that he's still the best in the game in this size range!  The sound is rich and satisfying, the playability is spot on, and you couldn't ask for better materials selection.  Allegory this ain't, we're talking about the Perfect Parlor here!

Adirondack spruce top with pearl top border and rosette combined with dense Madagascar rosewood back and sides for tonal complexity and headroom.  Hand-carved mahogany neck with soft V profile, measures .834" thick at the first fret and .877" at the 9th.  Beech body and fingerboard bindings, ebony fingerboard with compound radius and large diamond inlays.  1 3/4" nut width, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, short 25 1/2" scale length.

Mr. Baleno uses hot hide glue for all tonally relevant joints, and also adds the value of stainless steel frets and compensated nut and saddle to every build.  The tuners are Golden Age with ivoroid buttons.

This one is a home run on all counts.  Includes hard case.
