(NEW) Exactly one player is going to snap up this extraordinary Baleno OM, and they're going to have to act fast... could it be you?
Style, substance, playability, tone, beauty... this orchestra model has it all and can do it all. Voiced for a mix of warmth and balance, this "Swiss army knife" of guitar sizes has an Adirondack spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, Bubinga binding and an amazing Laskin-style comfort bevel. Bevels aren't easy to pull off, it is important that it doesn't get in the way of the vibration of the top, and it's also important that it looks and feels great. Guess what? Chuck Baleno nails it!
Other than the pick guard (also made by Chuck) and the abalone rosette, it's wood all the way on a Baleno guitar. This one has perfect craftsmanship and elegant appointments in and out. It is a long 25.34" scale, with 1 3/4" compensated nut on a mahogany neck, mod "V" profile. The ebony bridge has 2 1/4" saddle spacing, and the bone saddle is also compensated. Nothing intonates as precisely as a Baleno! Bone pins with abalone dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Stainless steel frets will serve you for a lifetime, and the Waverly tuners with snakewood buttons are the perfect choice to complete the look.
While Chuck still feels like a well-kept secret and local legend to us, we are proud to be his exclusive dealer and can say that he has absolutely arrived as a builder, his work can stand tall with anything else on our walls. Includes TKL hard case.
