Baleno Dreadnought, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) It's been a minute since we've had a square shoulder, 14-fret dreadnought from our local luthiery hero Chuck Baleno, and now we're reminded that his talents aren't just restricted to small-bodied guitars.  The silhouette might remind you of the ubiquitous Martin dread, but the tone and features of this instrument pull way ahead of your average factory guitar.

Adirondack spruce top and braces, mahogany back/sides/neck.  The back and sides are unstained and have a subtle ribbon figuring.  The neck is an easy modified V profile with 1 3/4" compensated nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  .831" thick at the first fret, .889" at the ninth fret.  Compound radius ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, ebony bridge and pins.  Stainless steel frets, standard on all Baleno instruments.

Celluloid pick guard, rosewood body binding, Waverly tuners, includes hard case.  The sound is impeccably balanced, it would be hard to imagine a better dread for recording or performance.
