Baleno 00 Cutaway, 12-Fret, Torrefied Adirondack Spruce, Indian Rosewood - NEW

(NEW) A comfortably small guitar with a BIG sound, this 00 from Chuck Baleno has an epic set of features, surpassing most other American-made guitars in this price range.  It has a torrefied Adirondack spruce top, thermally cured for a drier sound and a quick response like a vintage guitar.  The Indian rosewood back and sides add depth and warmth, you'll swear you're playing a bigger box!  The soft cutaway makes this the best of both worlds: 12-fret sound with the entire fingerboard at your disposal.  

The appointments are clean and elegant, with abalone rosette, curly maple body bindings, and simple dot inlays on the ebony fingerboard.  Stainless steel frets standard.  Short 24.9" scale length with 1 3/4" compensated bone nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  Modified V profile.  Hide glue construction on all tone-related bracing.  One of the best lacquer finishes you'll see from a one-man shop.

Baleno is still kind of our own local treasure/secret, but we've gotten dozens of his guitars out into the world now, they are fantastic.  Includes TKL hard case.
