(NEW) As T-Style guitars go, it doesn't get more vibey than pink paisley, and as far as this Atkin T-52 is concerned, forget pink.. it has our twang meters in the red!
It's a classic, a venerable interpretation of the mighty Fender Telecaster that manages to outperform most modern T-Style instruments. At just over 6 lbs, you'll feel (or not feel) the goodness almost immediately, thanks to the light Obeche body. The neck is roasted maple and has a very comfortable and fast "C" profile, this one measures .888" thick at the first fret and .942" at the octave. The scale is long (25 1/2") and the nut measures 1 5/8".
The house-wound Atkin pickups sound incredible, and each of the three positions is as musical as it is useful. The aged lacquer finish has a medium level relic job, feels pretty natural compared to some of the custom shop monstrosities that we see out there.
This is the perfect guitar to bring out your inner James Burton, or your inner Elvis, for that matter. Or your inner Dwight Yoakam (I could go on...) Suffice it to say, your Mom wants you to have this guitar. What else is there to say? This could easily be your only T-Style, for stage or studio. Includes hard case.
