(USED) After over a decade as his exclusive dealer, we can't exactly say that Chuck Baleno and his wonderful instruments are still our little secret.. but based on the incredible features, tone wood selection, fit and finish and the reasonable prices his guitars command... it's only a matter of time until he reaches "household name" status.
His small jumbo is loosely based on the J-185 design, with a slim waist and a 16" lower bout. This model has a lot of the balance of an OM, but more bass response and volume. It's a real do-it-all kind of shape. This one has a torrefied Adirondack spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides and a mahogany neck with a mod V profile, 1 3/4" nut width and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. It has a long 25.4" scale length, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a compensated nut and saddle for excellent intonation up and down the neck. Stainless steel frets are standard on all Baleno guitars. The appointments are understated but elegant, it has Beech body binding and an abalone rosette. The tuners are nickel Waverly with ebony buttons.
Condition is great with a couple small dings in the top, no fret wear or structural issues. Includes original hard case.
