(USED) We'll have to hand it to Fender on this one... instead of churning out reissue after reissue, mashup after mashup, re-naming after re-naming of their classic designs, they decided it might be time to create a stage-oriented performance tool built from the ground up and featuring some fresh concepts. Well, it's not like they *stopped* doing all that other stuff, but they also added the novel (and quite popular) Acoustasonic series, featuring S, T and J-style bodies.
Here we have an American-made Acoustasonic Telecaster, in a warm sunburst finish. The draw of this model is the versatility of easily being able to access a number of acoustic ("dreadnought" and "parlor" colors) and electric sounds, and switch between them on the fly in performance, or layer them in the studio. Though we've only had a few minutes to explore all of the voices, we have to admit that it's a pretty broad sonic palette. Several of our working musician friends here in town have adopted an Acoustasonic as part of their live rig. Features include:

This one weighs in at a mere 4lbs 12 oz, has some pick scratches and dings on the top, and has mild fret wear under the unwound strings. Includes padded gig bag.
