2020 Northfield NF-A5 Special, Italian Spruce, One-Piece Maple Back - USED

(USED) Our #1 mandolin brand is Northfield these days, they perform well beyond most instruments in their price points and the excellent tone speaks for itself.  Here we have a 2020 NF-A5 Special that has seen some use but is in very good condition.  It has an Italian spruce top with a traditional dark sunburst, and it has a one-piece maple back with some lovely flame.  The body is bound in faux-tortoise and the pick guard is faux-tortoise with white purfling.  The compound radius ebony fingerboard has pearl dot inlays.  It has the Nugget-designed tailpiece and Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons.  Standard 1 1/8" nut width.

The top has a few dings and some strum wear under the pick guard.  The guard itself has swipe marks.  There is minor fret wear under the unwound courses, nothing affecting intonation, no buzzing.  Includes original Airloom rectangle hard case with grey case cover.
