2020 Collings City Limits, Aged Black, Gold Hardware, Lollar Imperial Pickups - USED

(USED, EX+) We can admit it when we mess up.  Ask our wives, we're basically wrong most of the time!  When we originally ordered this Collings City Limits 6 or so years ago, we neglected to spec a classic "black beauty" package that would include gold hardware but also aged black pick guard and pickup rings... Collings, not being able to read our minds, sent it in with cream parts.  It looked great, but it wasn't exactly right to us.  When it came back used recently, we decided to rectify the situation.  Collings obliged us and sent us the black guard and rings, which we installed, and now we're fully in love!!  Some new photos to show it off, and here we are.  Our original description and demo video follows:

We don't build a ton of Collings electrics (15 month wait these days!) so when we do, we make sure that they ROCK.  This City Limits rocks alright... weighing in at 7.9 lbs, Collings' take on the legendary carved top solid body does everything you want it to.

We had this one outfit with Lollar Imperial pickups, gold for a bit of classic rock flash... but then for vibe, we had Collings use their aging process on the finish, introducing subtle lacquer checking on the body and peghead (not on the shaft of the neck) to make the guitar look and play like an old friend. 

Clear covers on the back of the guitar show the perfection of the wiring.  This one has the '59 "C" neck native to most Collings electrics.  The fingerboard is Madagascar rosewood with dot inlays.  Nut width is 1 11/16".  Short scale.  Cream binding, pickup rings and pick guard.  Includes original Ameritage hardshell case.
