2018 Collings OM2A SS Custom, Adirondack Spruce, Tasmanian Blackwood, Short Scale - USED

(USED) A very compelling and unique Collings, this custom Collings Orchestra Model is full of delightful little details and sounds GREAT!  It has an Adirondack spruce top and Tasmanian Blackwood back/sides, a tone wood that we don't often see on Collings.  The sound is light on its feet, crystalline, but not overly biting or harsh.  

The appointments here were highly considered.  It has an abalone rosette, rosewood binding on the body/neck/peghead, no fingerboard inlays, and zipper back strip.  It has Adirondack spruce braces, and there is no tongue brace (added warmth, in the direction of the Traditionals).  The nut width is 1 3/4" and the string spacing at the saddle is 2 3/16".  Standard mod V neck shape, but this guitar is short 24 7/8" scale.  Diamond volute on the back of the peghead, Waverly tuners, includes original hard case.
