(USED) Our favorite parlor guitar, from local luthiery legend Chuck Baleno! Nothing outperforms the Size 2, we've sold over a dozen of these over the years and it is truly a wonder how Baleno gets so much sound and nuance from such a small guitar. There is none of the inherent compression, none of the "boxy" tone that we expect in a parlor... rather, it has a rich, authoritative voice. It really does sound like a larger guitar.
This guitar sold at our shop originally and is now back on consignment. The condition is excellent, with some light pick marks below the sound hole and a few very shallow marks on the neck and body... nothing that can be seen without very close inspection. The stainless steel frets are perfect, and there is an LR Baggs Lyric pickup installed.
Adirondack spruce top with beautiful marquetry rosette. AAA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides. Hide glue brace construction. Curly maple bindings. 1 23/32" compensated bone nut for impeccable intonation, 2 1/4" spacing at the saddle. 24 1/2" scale length with mod "V" mahogany neck. Thin lacquer finish and includes original hard case.
Looking for the last parlor guitar you'll ever need, at a seriously good price?? Here you go!
