2017 Bourgeois JOMC Limited, DB Signature, Adirondack Spruce, Brazilian Rosewood - USED - SOLD

SOLD

ON CONSIGNMENTS, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) A popular original design from Dana Bourgeois, the JOM splits the difference between an OM and a dreadnought, offering desirable attributes from both shapes.  This is as fine a JOMC as we've ever heard, built with the finest materials and with the DB Signature cosmetics package.  This was part of a limited edition run from 2017.

Tight-grained Adirondack spruce top, beginning to amber nicely after five years.  Mildly figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides.  Excellent, focused tone!  Cutaway for access to the upper frets.  The DB Signature package includes figured Koa binding on the body, special two-toned herringbone top purfling, marquetry back strip and gold Waverly tuners w/ snakewood buttons.

This is a long 25 1/2" scale guitar with 1 23/32" nut width and 2.2" string spacing at the saddle.  The mahogany neck has a fast mod "V" profile.  Ebony fingerboard with long-pattern diamond inlays.  The nut, saddle and pins are all bone.

The condition is outstanding with one small ding in the neck, on the treble side behind the 1st fret (see photos).  Being aligned exactly with the fret itself, it isn't felt during playing.  We've adjusted the asking price accordingly, should you decide to have it filled.  Includes original hard case.
