(USED) We're finding ourselves utterly charmed by this 64-D from Bedell. The distinctive sunburst grabs you first, but on strumming this guitar it has a welcoming, focused sound that indeed reminds us of a '60s flat top. We think that this is probably down to the now classic Sitka/Mahogany pairing, as well as the ramped X-brace (AKA not scalloped).
The craftsmanship is excellent, with fine fit and finish and great fretwork. Long scale with 1 11/16" nut, 2 1/4" saddle and a mahogany neck with satin finish and a pretty fast D profile. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins. Wood rosette with black/white/black purfling accents. Antique brass open back tuners.
Condition is excellent with a few small, shallow scratches on the back. No fret wear. Includes original hard case.
