2016 Kevin Kopp Bird, Sitka Spruce, Mahogany, Short Scale - USED

(USED) Back in 2015, a good customer of ours asked us if we thought Kevin Kopp would build him a Hummingbird, specifically one that looked like Gram Parsons' guitar.  Kevin turned out to be more than up to the challenge, and since then, we've been enjoying a veritable *flock* of Birds!  It's a no-no to use the pick guard engravings that were a hallmark of the original, so these have a slightly more austere appearance... but man, do they sound excellent!

Being short scale, playing a Bird is a somewhat different experience than playing a Martin-style dreadnought.  The responsiveness is very quick indeed, and like many Kopp guitars, it has a meaty sounding low E string that just won't quit.  For a mahogany guitar, it's particularly rich sounding and also plenty loud.

Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, Kevin's legendary hand-rubbed sunburst in all its glory.  1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  Madagascar rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays.  Relic'd Waverly tuners.  K&K Mini installed.

Condition is excellent with no issues.  A couple very shallow dings in the top, not through the finish.  Includes original hard case.
