2016 Bourgeois L-DBO Black Top, Aged Tone Adirondack, Mahogany, 2016 NAMM Show - USED

(USED) Well look who got all dressed up!  Even though it's 10 years old, this tuxedo didn't come from the child's department... it came from Lewiston, ME by way of the 2016 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA!  This was still early in the Aged Tone years, and Dana was still combining the increasingly popular torrefaction process with a specially developed CA finish and hide glue construction, his original Aged Tone recipe.    

This one has an Aged Tone Adirondack spruce on top, torrefied Adirondack bracing with hot hide glue construction, and Honduran mahogany back/sides/neck.  It is short scale with a 1 23/32" nut, 2.2" string spacing at the saddle.  It has an ivoroid bound top, ivoroid dot inlays on a figured Ziricote fingerboard, ivoroid pick guard and tuner knobs.  The neck is a modified V shape.  Ziricote bridge with bone pins and saddle.  The tuners are Waverly machines. 

Condition is very good with very little fret wear and no structural issues.  Gloss black finishes have a hard time staying pristine for very long, and this one has some light swirl marks that appear to be from polishing (vs pick swipes).  Playability like new and includes original hard case.
