Here we have a singularly exquisite handcrafted mandolin by Tom Ellis in Austin, Texas. 2014 Ellis F-5

Custom Specs:

Adirondack Spruce top, highly figured maple one piece back, maple sides and neck in a dark sunburst varnish finish, EVO fret wire, 3-ply bindings throughout, radiused ebony fretboard, 1-1/8″ mother-of-pearl nut, abbreviated ebony pick guard and Oriole headstock inlay. Gold hardware throughout includes engraved James tailpiece and Waverly tuners with pearl buttons.

The mandolin has that legendary Ellis tone - clear and throaty - and is superbly balanced. We've not seen or heard a finer mandolin. 

With only faint scratches here and there on the neck, this heirloom-grade instrument has impeccable fit and finish snd the condition is near mint. It is priced with TKL- Collings mandolin case.
