(USED) Here is a lovely early example of the Collings 12-string, with Bill Collings' signature on the label. Bill surprised us all when he showed up at the NAMM show with a slot-head 12-string parlor guitar, but as with everything Bill ever touched, his concept was inspired. This is one of the most comfortable, easy-playing 12-strings out there. It has a chime-y, crystalline tone and impeccable string-to-string balance.
This one is in impeccable condition, with no real signs of play wear. It has a Sitka spruce top with Collings' "Shade Top" pale sunburst, and a very fine looking set of Indian rosewood for the back and sides. 1 7/8" nut and short 24 7/8" scale, with ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins. Stew Mac Golden Age tuners. Includes original TKL hard case.
