2012 Bourgeois Country Boy, DV2M, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany, Varnish - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) We could make an argument that guitars finished in varnish are some of the finest sounding ever, and it saddens us that this very labor-intensive finish option is now discontinued by some of our favorite builders.  This Bourgeois dread from 2012 is a welcome reminder of how warm and lovely a varnish guitar can sound.

Adirondack spruce top with a few hints of bearclaw.  Mahogany back, sides and neck.  Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 23/32" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  Neck has Bourgeois' comfortable modified V shape.  Ebony fingerboard with dot inlays.  Waverly open-back tuners.

Condition is excellent on this one with just a few shallow dings in the top and some pick swirls on the pick guard.  A slight dullness to the finish behind the bridge tells us that a bridge lift might have been addressed at some point in the last 12 years (holding strong now).  No cracks or fret wear.  Includes original hard case.
