(USED) For anyone looking for a "lifetime" mahogany OM, we've got a doozy for you! This brilliant 2011 Orchestra Model from Huss & Dalton is as sweet and rich as any we've heard from our friends in Staunton, and it has a number of very desirable upgrades that make it even harder to resist.
It has a tight-grained Italian spruce top, aged to a golden color, with some gorgeous silking when turned to the right light. The sinker mahogany back and sides have a subtle depth in the figuring. Other cosmetic appointments include abalone rosette, rosewood neck and body binding, snowflake inlays and engraved nickel Waverly tuners. The peghead overlay is Brazilian rosewood. The whole presentation speaks with understated elegance.
This is a long 25 1/2" scale instrument, with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. Modified V neck profile, with radius'd ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge/pins. The condition is excellent, with only the faintest fret wear under the unwound strings (you'll have to look hard to find it) and a nice tall saddle. Includes original tweed hard case.
