(USED) Here is a very nice sounding octave mandolin/bouzouki built by Richard Beard of Rutherfordton, North Carolina. It has a spruce top (appears to be Sitka) and figured koa back/sides. The koa is very fine indeed, with a very tight flame.
The nut width is 1 3/8", and the scale is 24 1/2". It has a flat ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. For appointments, it has a herringbone rosette, ivoroid body binding and a cast tailpiece cover. The tuners are closed-back Grovers.
Condition is very good with some dings in the top and very faint fret wear on the unwound strings. Includes Reunion Blues soft case.
