(USED) Octave mandolins have been steadily growing in popularity in folk, Americana and Irish music circles, and for the first time in our shop's long history we've found ourselves with a really interesting assortment of sizes and shapes from a variety of builders. This Red Valley octave was hand-built by James Wilson in Garden City, Idaho. It has a solid spruce top, maple back and sides and a flat ebony fingerboard.
The scale on these is 21" and this one has a 1 5/16" nut width. Condition is great with a couple almost unnoticeable finish dings on the top, no fret wear. Includes original hard case in good condition.
