(USED) Just before our inaugural shipment of new Northfields arrived this fall, we were able to get our hands on this wonderful florentine model mandolin, and it clinched our admiration for these great instruments.  We love that the crew at Northfield continue to be inspired by the past, but also with an eye toward the future.  Exceptional quality and value are assumed with every Northfield instrument... but they are also some of the most musical and inspiring mandolins out there right now. 

The 4th generation Northfield F5 models are spectacular. 

This NFA-V3 has an Adirondack spruce top, Sugar maple back and sides and a dark two-tone sunburst.  It has Waverly tuners, an engraved Gilchrest/Northfield tail piece, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and is fully bound in ivoroid (with bound pick guard.)  1 1/18" nut width.  Varnish finish for maximum responsiveness.  It's everything you need and want in a traditional F model, it looks and sounds the part.  

The condition is very good, with some pick scratches on the sound board, a small bit of finish wear on the back, only minor fret wear and no structural issues whatsoever.  Includes deluxe (rectangular) Airloom hard case.
