2008 Santa Cruz Vintage Artist, Sitka Spruce, Mahogany - USED

(USED) If you like lightweight, warm and thick sounding traditional dreadnoughts, take a gander at this here Vintage Artist from Santa Cruz!  This one recently arrived on trade, and it has found its way into our bluegrass hearts.  It has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck.  The neck is a modified V shape, measuring .873" at the first fret and .969" at the ninth.  It has a 1 11/16" nut width and string spacing of 2 3/16" at the saddle.  

Appointments include full body, neck and peghead binding, herringbone top trim, dot inlays and Brazilian rosewood peghead overlay.  The tuners are open-gear style, branded Santa Cruz.  K&K Pure Mini pickup installed.  

Condition is very good with some play wear around the sound hole, some finish disturbance near the heel, back strip and butt wedge, and some sizeable dings on the back of the neck and headstock (see detail photos).  Minimal fret wear under the unwound strings.  Includes hard case.
