(USED) Another wonderful guitar from the great Montana luthier John Walker! John learned a lot when he was employed in the Gibson Custom Shop, and it shows in the superb guitars that he continues to build on his own.
A great L-00 should be woody and focused, light weight and fun to play. This Lolo Creek is all that and more! Adirondack spruce top with subtle hints of bearclaw and a striking vintage-style burst, mahogany back, sides and neck. Far from a simple blues box, this guitar loves to be fingerpicked, strummed, flat picked... we haven't found a music style that it doesn't like!
1 23/32" nut width, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, approximately 24 3/4" short scale. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, tall cut-through bone saddle and bone pins. Classic 3-band single-ring rosette and bound sound hole. Neck profile is a pronounced "V" with a flat shoulder, but not chunky at all... surprisingly fun and comfortable to play. Waverly tuners.
Condition is excellent with only minor cosmetic imperfections (some light scratches on the top, a small ding on the treble side of the upper bout, healthy shallow pick marks on the pick guard) and just a bit of fret wear under the B string in the first position. Includes original hard case and a vibe that won't quit!
