2008 Collings OM2HA, Adirondack Spruce, Indian Rosewood - USED - SOLD

With little fanfare, the Collings OM quietly surpassed the dreadnought as the best-selling offering coming out of Austin, TX.  This was maybe 4 years ago, and based on trends ever since, it looks like there is no sign of OM sales slowing down.  Indeed, we have a hard time keeping them in stock, particularly when the back and sides are rosewood!

Now we are able to offer a wonderful pre-owned (and somewhat souped-up!) Collings OM2HA, built in 2008.  This guitar has everything going for it: wide-grained Adirondack spruce top, lovely east Indian rosewood back and sides, and Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer, from back when that was still a thing!  Seriously, though... this guitar can take anything you throw at it.  Versatility to spare, Collings chime in spades, overflowing with mojo after almost a decade and a half of loving ownership!  Can't argue with the beautiful golden patina of that Adi, either!

1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" saddle spacing, standard long 25 1/2" scale length.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins.  Standard "2" style appointments, including ivoroid body binding, herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette and zipper back strip.  Nickel Waverly open-back tuners.

Condition is wonderful, with nary a hint of previous play... a few light swipes on the pick guard, perhaps, maybe a microscopic ding if you're, you know, looking at it under a microscope... but overall, and delightful looking and sounding example of THE chart-topping Collings OM.  A heady mix of power, balance, and the best tone woods and craftsmanship available.  Includes original TKL hard case.
