2008 Collings C10 "Western", Sitka Spruce, Mahogany, Shade Burst - USED

(USED) A very handsome C10 with some lesser-seen features, this C10 has the designation of "Western" on the label.  It departs from Collings' 1-style in a few ways, but let's start with those good looks: Western shade burst, ivoroid body binding, rope top purfling, bound sound hole and dalmation pick guard are giving this one the warm/wow factor.  

There are more delights when we get to the build itself: this is a Camper style, meaning that it has an OM neck with mod-V profile, vs the usual C neck w/ haircut headstock that normally appears on a C10.  This one has a Sitka top, mahogany back/sides/neck.  1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, long 25 1/2" scale.  Compound radius ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, ebony bridge and pins.  

Condition here is fabulous with no issues whatsoever!  It's what we call a time capsule.  Includes original hard case.
