(USED) For lovers of gutsy, traditionally flavored dreadnoughts, we've got a great one here for you! This TD-R Custom from Huss & Dalton walks the walk and talks the talk. It has a bass-y, traditional voice that will feel instantly familiar to any flat picker.
This guitar has an Adirondack spruce top, which has aged to a nice golden color in its 15 years of service. Indian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack spruce braces, and a mahogany neck are all squarely in the tradition, as is the herringbone top trim and ivoroid body binding. 1 3/4" nut width, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle and long scale length, of course. This one has an ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, Waverly open-gear tuners and the original tweed hard case.
The condition is excellent for the age of the guitar, the only imperfection being a cloudy spot in the finish at the top of the peghead. It almost presents as a sapwood color, and is not abutted by any bumps or dings. The frets are clean and the playability is great.
