(USED) A blast from the past! We sold this guitar back in 2006, to a happy customer who has cherished it ever since. Now that he is "thinning the herd" we find it back in our shop, and it's as good as we remembered it!
This bold 000 has volume to rival many dreadnoughts. The Sitka/Honduran rosewood combination gives it not only a fullness of tone, but also a very compelling balance of warmth and sparkle. Like a lot of Huss & Dalton guitars, it sounds traditional yet updated/upgraded at the same time.
1 13/16" nut with 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle. Short 24 7/8" scale length. Neck profile is a comfortable modified "V", rounded off nicely so that the "V" is barely perceivable. Rosewood binding on the neck and body, with maple and b/w/b purfling on the top and herringbone rosette. Ebony fingerboard with short pattern diamond inlays. Pyramid bridge with good saddle height. The action is great, it's really easy to get around on. Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons.
Condition is excellent with almost no fret wear, and just one small finish impression off of the treble wing of the bridge, about 3/8" long and not breaking through the finish. We've tried to detail this in the photos. Includes original tweed hard case in great condition.
