(USED) Just arrived on trade, this 2006 C-10 Deluxe is in great shape for its age! The C-10 is Collings' take on the venerable Gibson L-00, a size that has become increasingly popular over the last few decades. It's a small-ish, comfortable guitar, and extremely versatile (especially when it has the "deep body" option, like this one does.) Popular with blues players and rockers, but increasingly with singer/songwriters, the C-10 is a great performance and recording guitar.
This example has an Adirondack spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Deluxe appointments include full head, neck and body binding, abalone rosette, and a hardwood back strip flanked by purfling. The neck is a comfortable "C" shape, with a nut width of 1 3/4" and string spacing of 2 3/16" at the saddle. Long 25 1/2" scale. Tuners are Schaller with ebony buttons.
The condition is VG+, with a few chips on the back of the peghead, a couple pinhead-sized dings on the top, a couple light scratches on one of the sides near the heel (pictured) and very minimal fretwear under the unwound strings. Action has been lowered slightly from factory spec, and now resides at 3/32" bass side, 2/32" treble side at the 12th fret. An active Fishman undersaddle pickup has been installed. Includes original hard case.
