(USED) We've just received this top of the line Weber fern, built and signed by Bruce Weber in 2005. This handsome Florentine mandolin has a loud, throaty sound and classic good looks.
Adirondack spruce top with traditional tobacco sunburst and custom antique toner added to the finish. Flamed maple back, sides and neck. 1 1/8" pearl nut, ebony fingerboard with large pearl dots, ebony bridge and armrest, double bound ebony pick guard. Gorgeous fern inlay on the peghead, gold hardware throughout.
Condition is very good, with a few dings, the biggest being a pin head-sized ding just under the pick guard. A few light scratches on the back. Very minimal fret wear under the unwound courses.
This mandolin includes a custom grey rectangular case and some of the original case candy as well.
Serial #5227403 (2005)
