2005 Collings C10 Custom, LEFT HANDED, Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood, Deep - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) The last time we saw this custom C10, it had its factory sunburst finish that had been marred dramatically by an aggressive strummer.  Well, left-handed guitars of this quality being in very short supply, the current owner (himself a woodworker) decided to strip the finish from the top and refinish in varnish.  We must say, he didn't a mighty fine job!  While there are still some scratches (especially around the sound hole) and dings throughout, we think some other southpaw is going to get the deal of the century on a great Collings!

Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, deep body option.  Ivoroid body binding, ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, long scale with 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Ebony belly bridge with ebony pins.  The Waverly tuners show a fair bit of tarnish but work fine.  

Other than the aforementioned top refinish, there is some minor fret wear and the owner also decided the shellac the interior of the box, popular with nylon builders to help "seal" the inside and protect it from humidity fluctuations.  A nice strap button is installed in the correct location.  The endpin was drilled out for a pickup at one time, now it is occupied with a No-Jack endpin, very natural looking.  Otherwise, the guitar has no structural issues, a good setup and original hard case.
