2004 Collings OM1A, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany, K&K - USED - SOLD

SOLD

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) We are pleased to present this lovely OM1A as part of a small collection of well cared for Collings guitars that just arrived on consignment.  If you're new to Collings, know that, to a guitar, they are loud, clear, and came from the mind of the late great Bill Collings... one of the best to ever do it.  Collings ushered in an era of care and consistency in guitar building that became a standard for every other brand in the industry to aspire to.

This OM1A is in excellent condition, but shows its age in only the best, most important way: its voice seems to be fully formed, it has the depth of tone that only comes with time.  You'll notice the darkened color of the top, some inoffensive pick swipes on the guard, the new frets that display no wear and the K&K/strap button... but then you'll notice that this solid-as-a-rock guitar still has its exact factory setup and no structural issues of any kind.  It's a find, we tell ya!

Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck. Modified V neck profile, long 25 1/2" scale, 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  Style 1 appointments include tortoise body binding, 3-ring rosette and dot inlays on the fingerboard.  It has Waverly open-back tuners and the original hard case.
