(USED) Eric Clapton's appearance on MTV Unplugged was a cultural phenomenon, inspiring thousands of players to pick up an acoustic guitar. Even to this day, a day rarely goes by that we don't hear the chords of "Layla" ringing somewhere in our store. Clapton's signature Martin was a massive success, and it's still in production today. This example from 2003 looks like it could have left the factory yesterday!
Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck with pronounced V carve. The nut is 1 3/4", string spacing at the saddle 2 1/4" and the instrument is short scale (24.9"). The neck thickness measures .868" at the first fret, .99" at the ninth.
