2002 Jim Triggs San Salvador 17" Archtop, Spruce Top, Maple Back & Sides - USED - SOLD

SOLD

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) Jim Triggs is a master luthier and something of a rock star in the archtop world, having worked in the Gibson Custom Shop and now on his own for nearly 30 years, building bespoke instruments for some of the world's most discerning players.  Triggs is the real deal, and so is this excellent San Salvador guitar!

The San Salvador is Triggs' 17" archtop in the style of the Gibson L5-C.  Solid carved spruce top with solid bookmatched flame maple back and maple sides.  The single-piece maple neck is a moderately shallow "D" profile, and the guitar has a long 25 5/8" scale, with 1 11/16" nut and 2 1/8" string spacing at the saddle.  Ebony fingerboard with split Super 400 inlays and jumbo frets.  Venetian cutaway.  Kent Armstrong floating humbucker pickup with volume control, wired to a jack at the endpin.  Adjustable finger bridge, Grover Rotomatic tuners.

Condition is very good with no fret wear, a bit of tarnish on the gold hardware and a few small dings and light pick scratches, consistent with a used (but not abused) 20 year old guitar.  Includes original hard case.
