2000s Lowden F25, Cedar, East Indian Rosewood, Repaired - SOLD

SOLD

(USED) Here is one of the flagships of the Lowden guitars lineup, the F25 in cedar/EIR. George Lowden and his guitars are beloved for epitomizing the tonality of open-tuned, Irish guitar.  You can't argue with players like Pierre Bensusan and Richard Thompson, now, can you?

This GREAT sounding F25 suffered a partial bridge lift that proved quite stubborn to remove, and there is a bit of cosmetic damage to the top from the repair process (work was not done at our shop).  It is now structurally sound, and is a great example of this tone wood combination.  There are a few pick scratches on the top.

Cedar top, East Indian rosewood back/sides, 5-piece mahogany and rosewood neck.  Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  Mahogany binding and maple/mahogany accents give it the signature Lowden look.  Gotoh 381 tuners.  Includes original Hiscox hard case.

Serial #16529 (2000s)
