(USED) Recently arrived, a fabulous jumbo from the Hawaii years of Goodall guitars. This big 17" guitar has the legendary lush Goodall sound in spades, it has a warmth and volume to compete with any dreadnought. The elegant appointments (flamed koa binding, abalone rosette, gold tuners) give a touch of luxury. Truly, we think this model is what Goodall does best.
Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck. Long 25 1/2" scale with 1 3/4" bone nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays, ebony "wing" bridge with bone saddle and pins. A previous owner upgraded to the best (21:1 gear ratio) Delta Series Gold Gotoh 510 tuners - the smoothest tuners on the market! . A Dual Source pickup system combines microphone and under saddle element.
This guitar has its share of cosmetic bumps and bruises, but is structurally perfect, with smooth low action and a nice, tall saddle. There are a number of dings and scratches on both the top and back, with long pick scratches on the clear pick guard, some pick wear near the treble side of the bridge, and a few long finish checks on the top. Minimal fret wear under the unwound strings. One or two small dings on the shaft of the neck. Includes tweed style hard case.
