1997 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster, Maple, Humbucker/Single/Single - USED

(USED) Playing a beast like this ES-5 is no burden!  One of the most distinctive archtops in our special 2024 archtop collection is this Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster.  Where else will you find a humbucker in the neck, two (chunky sounding) single-coil Duncan Phat Cat P90s in the middle and bridge position, each with their own tone and volume controls, and a four-way switch to choose any of the three pickups individually or even all at once!  Talk about variety of sounds that can be dialed in! This ain’t yer average E-Z Bake oven! 

The maple on this guitar is drop-dead gorgeous, with deep flame everywhere.  This is a laminate carved professional-grade instrument, 17" across the lower bout.  It has binding and piping all over, gold hardware and tuners, and a rosewood fingerboard with large block inlays.  5-piece laminated neck with C profile, 1 11/16" nut and 2 1/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The setup is great and there's plenty of room on the wheels for adjustments.  Condition is excellent with no issues and no fret wear.  The original P-94 pickups are included in the sale, and it Includes a non-original hard case.
