1996 Froggy Bottom H12, Adirondack Spruce, Indian Rosewood - USED - SOLD

SOLD

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) Look what just hopped in!  We've seen this well played (and well loved) Froggy Bottom H12 before, and we are happy to be able to offer it once again.  Michael Millard and the team at FB are luthiery legends at this point, having handcrafted hundreds of lush and magical instruments in the great state of Vermont.  This 12-fretter does the brand proud, with lots of sustain but also a strong fundamental.

The H12 is approximately a 000 size.  This one has Adirondack spruce top and braces, east Indian rosewood back and sides and maple binding/purfling accents.  It has a colorful marquetry rosette and back strip, abalone dots on the ebony fingerboard and an abalone frog on the peghead.  It has a short 25" scale length, 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/32" string spacing at the saddle.  The mahogany neck has a comfortable low oval profile.  The tuning machines are closed-gear Schallers.

The condition is very good, with a repaired top crack, a few dings and scratches on the top and some buckle scratches on back, and minimal fret wear.  There is finish checking throughout, though the finish is nice and thin and it's hard to see unless the lighting is right.  An under-saddle pickup system has been removed and the guitar currently has a K&K Pure Mini installed.  Includes hard case.
