That's right, you'll see the signature of Bill Collings on this wonderful D2H from 1995... but once you pull your nose out of the soundhole, you'll see some of the finest tight-grained Adirondack spruce and most perfectly quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood to ever grace an instrument from the legendary builder.
It really is astounding to have a 25 year old guitar of this quality come to us in this condition. Heirloom-grade in every way. It has classic "herringbone" styling including ivoroid body and peghead binding, a traditional 3-ring rosette, and even the grain on the peghead veneer is mesmerizing. 1 3/4" nut width, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fingerboard with long-pattern diamond and square inlay. Waverly tuners, of course.
The condition is EX+ with absolutely no dings, scratches or cracks. The action and setup are exactly as if it had left the factory today. No electronics. No finish checking or sinkage. The only modification is a professionally installed strap-button at the heel. You won't find one that is cleaner. Includes modern TKL case with Collings badge.
