1993 Heritage "The Rose" Johnny Smith 17" Archtop, European Spruce, Figured Maple - USED - SOLD

(USED) We have a lot of reverence for serious archtop guitars, and it doesn't get much more serious than this!  From the tried and true team at Heritage Guitars in Kalamazoo, this Johnny Smith "The Rose" is in pristine condition, a time capsule of a guitar if there ever was one.  No dings, scratches, cracks or fret wear to disclose.  In a word CLEAN!

Solid carved spruce top with highly figured maple back and sides... I mean, look at that wood!  Triple bound top, double bound ebony fingerboard with large abalone block inlays.  Bound peghead with dark ebony veneer, rose inlay and ebony back strap.  5-piece neck with maple and rosewood laminates, fast shallow C shape.  Short 25" scale length with 1 23/32" bone nut and 2 1/32" saddle spacing on the compensated ebony bridge.  6-finger tailpiece with micro-tuners.  Neck pickup with pick guard-mounted control.  Grover Rotomatic tuners.  Includes original hard case and extra pick guard w/ no controls mounted.
