(USED) While Taylor guitars are rarely our "raison d'etre" we do believe that they make a mighty fine 12-string. Their precision in manufacturing and the slinky playability of their instruments make the often fussy prospect of a 12-string a little more palatable. They hold their tune, they sound nice and shimmery and they make great stage guitars!
This gently used 1991 855-C is something of a time capsule, coming to us with almost know play wear. It is a 17" super jumbo guitar with a Sitka spruce top and 3-piece Indian rosewood back and sides. It has a florentine cutaway, ebony fingerboard and bridge and gold Schaller tuners. The pickup is of the under-saddle variety, with tone controls mounted at the upper part of the bass side.
Again, the condition could not be better for a 30 year old guitar! No dings or scratches, no structural issues, great playability. Includes original hard case, also in excellent condition.
