(USED) For serious jazz heads, only a Gibson is good enough. This 1991 L-4 cuts a familiar figure, with its tobacco sunburst finish, two-hum bucker configuration and florentine cutaway. This is the kind of box that keeps one foot in jazz and one foot in rock (call it a fusion...) and has a great versatility of tones thanks to the Classic '57 hum buckers in both the neck and bridge position.
Specs include short 24 3/4" scale length, with 1 11/16" nut width and bound ebony fingerboard. Gold pickup covers, tail piece and Kluson tuners. Laminated maple body with plastic top and back binding. Split parallelogram fingerboard inlay. Weighs 7 lbs, 5 oz.
Condition is excellent +, with no structural issues or fret wear. There is one tiny (and we mean tiny) lacquer chip on the top of the headstock, but otherwise it couldn't be cleaner for a 30 year old guitar. Includes original hard case, Gibson pink + brown.
